Utah Valley University Institutional Advancement — Orem, UT

Working with a multidisciplinary team, I strategize marketing initiatives and tell visual stories relating to fundraising, alumni relations, and executive events. In this role, I crafted the visual identity for EverGREEN, the university’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign. I co-chair the Campus Engagement Committee (formerly called the Campus DEI Committee),which I have represented my division on since 2022.

While updating and maintaining the visual brand, I created and edited website and social media content, coordinated with the press, and crafted messaging for events. We were the highest-performing congressional challenger in the state.

Building my skills in a professional setting, I designed ads and promotional materials, redesigned a magazine, and created an art installation. These projects taught me to strategize and work effectively with clients.

Brand Manager & Associate Editor

NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity — Chattanooga, TN

As the lead for all aspects of visual identity, I worked with editors and advisors to create a new aesthetic in-line with the goals of the journal. To achieve this, I rebranded the organization, created collateral for marketing campaigns, and designed and developed a new website. Each year, I also reviewed art and literary submissions for publication.

Circle of Excellence Award — Council for Advancement and Support of Higher Education

This recognized work I did creating a visual identity for a donor event at UVU. The project also included making each donor a personalized piece of merchandise.

Merit Award — The 100 Show

As Salt Lake City's most prestigious graphic design exhibition, The 100 Show features region’s best design of the year. The EverGREEN campaign branding I created for UVU was selected for this award.

Award of Excellence — UCDA Design Awards

Conducted annually by the University & College Designers Association (UCDA), these awards recognize the best design work created to promote educational institutions. I worked with my creative team to design and build out a fundraising event identity, which was recognized with this award.

Honorable Mention — UCDA Design Awards

This award recognized a portfolio of print materials created for UVU Institutional Advancement. It included work that another designer and I created that year.
