During my second year with UReCA, I earned the position of Brand Manager, where I worked with the student leadership to upgrade the website for this digital journal. I designed and hand-coded the new site, and then modified the code so it would be compatible with a more user-friendly Wordpress backend. This allows members of the production team to update the site more easily.
I based the design off the visual identity I had established for UReCA, with a majority of the page being white and light grey to create a professional and contemporary feeling. The color is punctuated with cyan and orange to highlight various elements.
Note: Over the next few months, I will work with the editors for the 2020 edition to tweak various aspects of the design and functionality.To view the site, click here
